GETTING STARTED

The club is open Thursdays & Saturdays 12 noon - 5pm
New shooters catered for between 12pm - 5pm unless by prior arrangement. We have several resident qualified coaches to assist new shooters to guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience.

What you will need
Current Photo ID. You must be over 11 years old.
Closed in shoes, shirt with sleeves (no singlets)
Hat and sunscreen

Costs
We recommend new shooters start off with 25 targets only on the first day which would cost $30 per person in total. This includes range fee, gun hire, ear protection and a packet  of 25 cartridges.

You don't need a weapons license to start off with but you will need to sign a declaration form and present current photo ID.

General Club fees and rules
$7.00 per 25 target round for all disciplines.
Except ISSF Double Trap $10 per 50 target round.
One off range fee per day: $2 for BGC members, $4 for non members

Cartridges to suit most shooters available at the Club house.  $10.00 per 25 cartridge packet. 
Or slabs from $85 (10 packs of 25).

Club membership is from January to December per calendar year.

Corporate days designed to suit your requirements, price on application.

Range rules
Closed in shoes must be worn
No singlets
Hearing protection must be worn while shooting
Eye protection is recommended
Shooters must obey all directions of the range
officers and abide by the club rules
Unlicensed shooters may shoot between the hours of 12pm and 5pm Thursdays and Saturdays without prior arrangement. They may shoot outside these hours (during normal trading) if they have made arrangements to be supervised by a licensed shooter. If an unlicensed shooter wishes to use a club gun, they must be supervised by a licensed Brisbane Gun Club member.
